Christmas?
Not quite. This unseasonably warm weather in Wisconsin is very welcome indeed, but it’s hard to get into the holiday spirit just yet.
But, we’re only 42 days away! Time to start making our wish lists, busting out the decorations, listening to holiday music, and taking one last family portrait for the year! This weekend I’m going to attempt a self-shot (is that even a word?) family/dog/chicken portrait. Scratch that, maybe no chickens. We don’t want any feathers flying!
With all of my creative energy I can’t wait to start sorting through all of the holiday cards and picking just the right one. One of my favorite things about the holidays is looking through all of the cards, letters and pictures that are sent in the mail. Why is it that we only send such nice cards and letters during the holidays? Before we start the holidays, we had a little renovation with siding services overland park ks to fix and maintain our house first.
I’m quite pleased this year with the amazing selection Shutterfly has this year for photo cards. I’ve used Shutterfly in the past for personalized calendars, photo books, and mugs. Always great service, great support as you create it, and great rates!
Tonight as we lounged around we found ourselves sipping cranberry wine, with some random Christmas music on in the background. Definitely set the mood for…card design!
